In this day and age incompetence and a lack of customer service reigns. I am happy to write that I have never experienced anything but quick, competent service at this location. This past Monday, Dominic was 15 minutes away from closing, yet he took me in with a smile and got me back on the road quickly. In addition, he called me to tell me I had left my water bottle behind. He said he wouldn’t be at work on Tuesday but he would put my name on it. I was unable to get back on Tuesday and Wednesday morning I got another call from Domenic to remind me my bottle was still there. Yes, he saved me $30 for a new bottle and it didn’t take a lot of effort but it’s more about kindness and courtesy put into action that I feel is missing these days. It is a pleasant surprise when a young man not only performs his job with integrity but takes the time and cares enough to go the extra mile to help someone.

stopped by the Carson location twice for smog and always got told the person that runs the equipment was out sick, this past Friday I again tried and they finally said they stopped doing smog as of January 1 2026. today I get an email with a coupon for smog in Carson City. needless to say I stopped trying to get smog done and I only went there because I was happy with our cars oil changes. found a new place for all out services and will unsubscribe from your email list as well. no contact place on the web to reach anyone

Wife went in for oil change and they lied to her about needing transmission service, now transmission is leaking and has leaked all over garage floor. Then tried to give her run around. Not a very good shop!!

the customer service that i not only witnessed while waiting for a smog check to finish, but recieved first hand was amazing! the price was fair but it was the customer service that makes this place a five star business

I just had my oil changed here today and the manager, Triston (hopefully I have his name right), was unbelievably kind. Even though he was the only one working, he was quick and efficient, and did an exceptional job on it! I appreciate kind people so much and will absolutely be back and will recommend him and this location to others. I think he deserves a raise! Thanks again!

Must have been short staffed. Yes the service was quick but the employees barely communicate with me. Enough to know I wanted full synthetic oil. I came here because from what I can tell on the website there are two synthetic Options ( GTX AND EDGE ) I wanted EDGE synthetic. They gave me GTX. So I told them that's not what I wanted. The response was, "okay, it should be fine". On the invoice things like washed windshield and tire pressure are part of the service. Invoice States they were completed. They were not. So disappointing. Back to doing it myself.

Then trying to get my oil changed for 2 weeks They keep telling me the oil They keep telling me it'll be there in two days two weeks later Still no oil for my truck

After I had the oil changed, I noticed a spot of oil under the car. When I checked, I found the drain plug was loose. Also, the pan under the engine was missing.

After ruining the special tool I purchesed for removal of the canister style oil filter on Toyotas, I took my car in to the last place that changed the oil, the CPLE College Parkway Express Lube. I explained that I could not remove the canister inan attempt to change the oil myself and the reason why. The guy who did the paperwork told me that an ex-employee had a habit of over-tightening the filters , resulting in the necessity of them having to purchase an extra heavy duty wrench for that very purpose. I watched the "technician" use that wrench to tighten the canister No torque wrench @27 ft/lbs (Toyota spec), then asked Xavier another "tech" if I will be able to get that canister off next time I want to change my oil. He replied in a smart-assed way "that I need to buy the heavy duty wrench and to lift more weights" implying I was too weak. I will never have any service done there again and will tell everyone I know not to. I was planning to have my transmision flushed there, but no way! I did not go there to be verbally abused.

So a few weeks ago I went to the Castrol Premium Lube Express on Mae Anne for an oil change with a $10 off coupon. I normally would have done this myself, but we needed to drive out to SF and I needed to get my oil changed before we left, so I went to this place. After my 2 day trip I parked the car on the driveway and found that my car was leaking oil on my driveway. This is our winter car (AWD for the snow) and isn't driven daily, so it normally sits in the driveway, but there are no leaks until now. So I crawled under the car to find the drain plug loose and dripping oil. I retightened the drain plug and checked the oil level and found that it was almost 3 out of 4 quarts low. And now I have 2 oil stains (I changed parking positions before noticing the oil leak) on my driveway where there never was.

Justin was friendly and very knowledgeable They changed my oil in 20 minutes. I definitely would refer anyone this shop to anyone. Thanks again Justin!!!

Anthony was very helpful when I came in for an oil change. I always notice how employees interact with eachother and noticed that he was very respectful and patient with his coworkers who appeared to be in training. He was very polite to me and used my name on multiple occasions which I thought was nice. Second time I got my car serviced there. Guys there are professional and nice. Oil change came out cheaper then it was when I first got it changed here. The guys checked my battery when I asked because of the subs in my car, and we're all good. Thank you!

If you look at my reviews you'll see that I don't give 5 stars very often I came here the guys met me right away he talked to me about how I didn't need an oil change because of percentages so we didn't charge me anything and hes helping work on the window washer sprayer for no charge you have to come here give these guys some love. I did this review by voice text so the punctuation and spelling might be a little goofy

I tried to DIY changing a tail light and I am mechanically challenged. Therefore, I botched it so much I had to bring it to Castrol and ask that they assist me. The two that were working (sorry, didn't catch their names or positions) were super rad. I owned up to my doings and asked that they make me look like a hero to my wife! Needless to say, they helped me out, fixed my mishaps and changed both tail lights for me. They went above and beyond and I loved their professionalism. Castrol, you should be proud of your crew. Keep it up and we'll look forward to seeing next oil change.

The tech was very honest and told me exactly what I needed. He also fixed a problem that another oil change shop had done. The oil change was performed very efficiently within 30 minutes. I will definitely be coming here for my service needs.
